About · Navitas AI Labs

Agentic engineering, built on enterprise delivery.

Navitas AI Labs is the agentic AI practice within Navitas. We design and deploy AI agents that connect to enterprise systems, work from trusted data, operate within defined controls, and complete real business tasks — with human oversight where it matters.

Why we exist
A capable model is the easy part. An agent your business can trust to act is the work.
What we are

The short version.

01

What is Navitas AI Labs?

Navitas AI Labs is the agentic AI practice within Navitas. We build and deploy enterprise AI agents — software that does defined work across real systems, not demos or chat assistants. Our first agents run Navitas's own operations before we offer them to others.

02

How does it relate to Navitas?

Navitas is an enterprise technology and engineering firm. AI Labs sits inside that delivery organisation and draws on the same engineers who work across applications, cloud, data, automation, and digital platforms. The agents we build are engineered and operated the way Navitas delivers everything else — scoped, tested, and run in production.

03

What does "agentic engineering" mean in practice?

It means treating an agent as a system to be engineered, not a prompt to be written. In practice that is five things: connect the agent to the systems the work touches, ground it in trusted data, govern it with identity, permissions, and approval points, orchestrate models, tools, rules, and people end to end, and act only on approved steps.

04

Why enterprise agents?

Most enterprise work crosses several systems and needs judgment at a few points along the way. A model alone can describe that work; it cannot carry it out safely. An agent that is connected, grounded, and governed can take on the repetitive coordination while people keep control of the decisions that matter.

05

How do governance and human oversight fit?

They are part of the build, not a layer added afterwards. Every agent runs under authenticated identity and least-privilege access, logs its activity so actions can be traced, and routes defined consequential steps and exceptions to a person for approval. The agent accelerates the work; people decide what counts as done.

06

Where is a good place to start?

Start with one workflow that crosses systems, requires coordination or judgment, and consumes significant team time. We assess where an agent can safely take on the work and where human control should remain, then build around your environment rather than asking you to change it.

The approach

Connect. Ground. Govern. Orchestrate. Act.

Five capabilities take AI from answering questions to completing governed work across enterprise systems.

01

Connect

Connect agents to the applications, APIs, data sources and tools the workflow requires.

02

Ground

Give agents the business context and trusted information to work accurately within the use case.

03

Govern

Apply identity, permissions, policies, approval points and logging around agent activity.

04

Orchestrate

Coordinate models, tools, systems, business rules and human intervention end to end.

05

Act

Execute approved actions across connected systems.

In production today

Two agents we built and run ourselves.

SCOUT and NAVIMATE are examples of the approach, not the limits of it — each began as an agent that does real work inside Navitas.

Start with one workflow.

Identify a repetitive process that crosses systems, requires judgment or coordination, and consumes significant team time. We'll assess where an agent can safely take on the work and where human control should remain.
